Having a check-in discussion

If you’re both looking at the same screen during the meeting you can ignore the following steps (in this case, make sure you're both looking at the employee’s version)

2

To access your own version of the check-in tool, click ‘Team’ from the main menu

3

On the Team screen, select the relevant team member

4

On the selected team member screen, click 'Check-ins'

5

Click 'Check-in Tool' - this will open a new page containing useful information to help you having your check-in discussion with your team member

6

Open the 'Goals' section and discuss individual goal performance; Your report should add notes to each one of the goals based on the discussion you're having (this is optional)

7

Open the 'Performance' section to discuss their overall performance for the period; Your report should add notes from your discussion

8

Open the 'Next Steps' section; once again, your report should add the relevant notes for this section

9

Once your team member submits their check-in, the notes taken will be shown on the Check-ins section on TalTrack which you will be able to access as well.
